It’s the MotorVote you know and love, now as a Chrome Extension!
Get it Here!
We’ve just released a brand spankin’ new version of MotorVote!
Head over to http://motorvote.me to check it out!
Send any feedback of the application to feedback@motorvote.me
Enjoy!
You will now be able to browse Facebook securely, and use MotorVote at the same time! Stay tuned for a UI update in the near future.
…. disable secure browsing on Facebook. Go to ‘Account Settings’ then ‘Security’ and edit “Secure Browsing” so it reads ‘disabled’ . Still working on a way around this. Stay tuned!
It looks like there are way more bugs than I thought in the new version, so I’m reverting back to the stable version of the script. Enjoy!
MotorVote was just updated so that the window will not close when you click on a new picture, unless that picture belongs to a different person than the one you’re currently viewing. I’m not 100% satisfied with this new version, but I’d like to see how it pans out.
MotorVote was designed as an anonymous Facebook voting application. We’re all familiar with the ‘like’ button, and its uses, but we’re also familiar with the social stigma that comes with using the ‘like’ button. You can’t be the only one who ‘likes’ a picture of a pretty girl, without her thinking that you’re a little bit creepy.
Well you probably are a little bit creepy, but you’re in good company. While MotorVote can be used to vote on any pictures, it seems that the first batch of users has been using MotorVote to vote on pictures of pretty girls.
You veteran users may have noticed that the biggest change to MotorVote, is the name. Previously known as “Best Photo Forward”, MotorVote’s name change better reflects the mission of this application.
In addition to the name change we have added a function that allows interaction with Facebook. This provides users with a bit more direction for the application’s use, and shows new users what they should be expecting out of this application’s use.
Finally, the functionality to the user interface has been improved. Now, the voting button does not disappear when the user votes, allowing for multiple pictures to be voted on in succession. The top ten list of pictures is now always displayed
Welcome to the MotorVote blog. Updates among other things will be posted here!
